Pixham Residents Association Social Event – Saturday 14th November
at Friends Provident

We are holding a social event at Friends Provident on behalf of the Pixham Residents Association and in conjunction with an Appeal to continue to support two schools in Sri Lanka established from funds raised after the Tsunami in 2004 for orphans of the disaster.

There will be a children’s hour 7-8pm, food at 7.30, acoustic live set 8-9pm with ‘Across the Border’, magic 9-9.30pm and a local live band ‘Shedloads, from 9.30. The event must finish at 11.30pm.

Cost is £7.50 per person (children under 14 years free) and tickets are available from Sharon at 36 Leslie Road. Email or call 07832176488/500353. We would prefer you to buy your tickets in advance so that we can judge the food and so that minimal cash is carried on the night, although tickets will be available on the door.

We look forward to seeing you all there. Friends and Family welcome!

Choral Christmas Carol Concert

At St Mary’s Church, Pixham Lane from 7pm-9pm on Sunday 6th December 2009 with the Martineau Singers and Brass Quintet.
The concert will include traditional carols, some sung by the choir, some for all of us to sing along to and also pieces by the brass section. There will be wine and mince pies for sale by the Pixham Residents Association in the interval. Come raise the roof of our unique Lutyen’s church, and get a head start on the Christmas spirit with your friends, family and neighbours - it should be great fun.
Cost - £5 adults and children up to 14 free, to cover costs.
